Tuna steaks is another new fish I am trying this month and adored this! I marinated over night and didn’t actually serve with any extra sauce and the flavours were so lovely!
Ingredients
2tbsp soy sauce (I used reduced salt)
1tbsp honey
2 garlic cloves
1tbsp rice wine vinegar
10g ginger paste
2 tuna steaks (about 150g each)
Method
1. Mix all ingredients together and leave the tuna steaks to marinade in the fridge over night or for as long as you can.
2. When ready to cook heat a non stick pan to a high heat. Add the tuna steaks and cook for around 1 minute each side. Remove to serving plates.
3. If you want to serve with the extra sauce reduce the heat of the pan and add the remaining marinade and heat through before serving with the tuna.
I also topped mine with deseeded chopped chilli and fresh coriander. I served with Nellys eggy fried rice and veg

I was particularly worried about cooking this dish and how I would like the fish only seared but the texture wasn’t an issue and I will be repeating! Nom! X
