Apple and mustard pork burgers (Serves 2) Cals 290pp – BBC Good Food

This is a very simple and yummy burger! You can make a batch and freeze them although simple enough to make as and when wanted

Ingredients
250g pork mince
1 Small eating apple
2 spring onions
2tbsp dried breadcrumbs
2tsp whole grain mustard
handful of fresh parsley
Half a large beaten egg

Method
1. Core and coarsely grate your apple before squeezing any excess liquid out. Trim and finely chop your spring onions and the parsley.

2. Mix all ingredients together combining them well with your hands. Divide the mix and shape into burgers.

3. Heat a non stick pan and add your burgers cooking each for about 5 minutes on each side until cooked through.

Serve in a roll or naked with salad

I served mine with a potato and apple salad too with natural yoghurt and red onion which worked really well. Lovely summer evening meal. Nom! X
